Not to seem like a total n00b, but where does the "classes" folder go? Thanks guys!!
You don't have to put it anywhere if you want to use one of the mutators. I just put that there if people want to modify the gun. Everything in the Classes folder is the source code for the rifle. All you need is the the .ini and .u files on your server/game. _________________

Possible bug.. When the bots taunt you the little box that pops up on the left side of the screen is all black, i believe it should have a image of their face in there. Not sure what mod of the 3 is causing this.
LW posted over in the EPIC forums that ( Whenever I scope in I still see the rifle as I zoom )
I never noticed that until he mentioned it. It's not really noticable for me. _________________

Not in this version of the rifle. When redirects get fixed I was planning on releasing the full version with configurable crosshairs and sounds. Is there any sound in particular you want? I can compile a custom version for you. _________________

A lot of UT99 sniper clans seem to be enthusiastic about opening UT3 servers. I'm glad people like you already work on it to make this possible. Now am waiting for sniper maps, heard on your podcast that it will probably be possible to convert 99 maps like it was in the 2k4... I know some mappers who're already working on these new UED features. Can't wait to play my first UT3 matches/rumbles _________________

One question though (since I am new at this!) What are you using to edit/create the Rifle? I have made some changes in the class files that I would like to see, but I figure I now need to compile them, correct?
Here's some ideas I had for it:
Replace "setRifleDamage" with two lines:
"setMovingRifleDamage=45" and
"setStillRifleDamage=90"
then you set your "setMovingFireRate" to the .1
and the "setStillFireRate" to something slower like .8
What this would accomplish is making your rifle have two modes - Fast and furious run-gun rifle (like it is now) and then when you are sniping, the rifle shoots real slow, but is extremely lethal! This accomplishes two things - makes you run-n-gun more, and forces the campers to become real snipers instead of squatting point-leaching campers!
So, can this be done?
